It is the only way you can explain his predictions. He has the Pats winning by 4 points in a 27-23 win. The Pats are averaging giving up 14 points a game and you can argue at least half those points were garbage time points. The Bills are averaging 8.5 PPG which is the third worst in the league. One of the Bills' two TDs this season was on a punt return. Losman has a total of 251 yards and no TDs passing in his first two games. And he thinks the Bills are going to score 23 points?

I admit like in 2003 anything can happen and the Bills could catch the Pats sleeping and take one, but to go into the game expecting the Bills will score 23 points is a little out of whack considering how enemic their offense has been.

do links to sportsline not work for anyone else?

You read Pete Prisco, are you must be really into self infected pain.

Why is he on drugs? Because he did not predict us to blow them out? It is ok for a national writer to actually think we will be in a close game, guys. Just because he did not pick us to win by 68 points does not mean he is not on drugs. I know we are all excited about this "new" offense, but lets be honest, it is the NFL and anything can happen on any given Sunday. Maybe we should check ourselves and see if we are on "drugs" because we expect everyone to think we're going to blow out every opponent every week.

This was his comment on last weeks prediction:

The game of the week features two legitimate Super Bowl contenders. It's tough for the Chargers coming off a tough home game and now forced to travel across the country. Not only that, but they have to worry about Bill Belichick cheating. That's too much to overcome.

Although I think that Peter puffin Prisco is a dumb bunny, the Bills could give us a game... since they usually do. It's not entirely impossible.

He is on drugs because all the evidence points to the Bills needing at least two or three games to score 23 points. His 23 points prediction for the Bills is not based in reality. The Bills have scored a total of 10 offensive points in the first two games of the season. Losman has totaled 251 yards and no TDs in the first two games of the season. The Bills are 8 for 24 in third down conversions over the first two weeks. The Bills have had 23 first downs in the first two weeks which is dead last in the league and more than half of the Patriots 53 first downs. The Bills are averaging 203.5 total offensive yards per game which is 31st in the league.

Now tell me where I am even factoring in the Patriots' offense in my evaluation? What does the Patriots' offense have to do with me saying Prisco is on drugs because I think there is little to no chance the Bills can score 23 points vs. the Pats. I think the Bills may have the worst offense in the league and I think they would have trouble putting up 23 points vs. the Jets defense.

First off, I am not worried about Prisco being on drugs. I just think that he is a compete idiot.

Second, stuff happens. Sure there is plenty of evidence to back the "NE rolls" bandwagon, but that doesn't mean it is impossible for Buffalo to put up some points. They have excellent special teams so that could set up some scores. I seem to recall a team with a dreadful offense putting up 29 points on NE's best team to date.

Myh opinion is that Buffalo will be lucky to score 10 points, but that doesn't make it lunacy if someone thinks that NE will have a mild let down.

On the those rare moments when PP boy said something positive about the Patriots or Brady, I wondered if he is on drugs or sick.

I wonder how much Belichick would have paid to have Norv
Turner NOT INSTALL A GAME PLAN? Bu that is exactly what he did per little Miss Andrea Kremer, in her breathless fashion at halftime, so inform us....

It is one thing to say it is possible to score 23 points. It is another to predict they would when the evidence doesn't support it. Even Devin Hester doesn't score every game or every other game on special teams. So saying special teams is going to play a part in your predictions is not sound.

Yes, the Pats may have a let down, but my guess in that scenario it will be more like a 14-10 type of game rather than a 27-23 game. The Bills just don't have the fire power on offense to get into a shoot out. And my opinion has nothing to do with the Patriots.

Again, I don't disagree with you, but every single week games have screwy results that go against common knowledge and statistics.

Why does anyone care what someone predicts? Who has never picked an upset? Who had Cincy scoring 45 points last week and losing?

The cheating comments do annoy me -- they are incorrect and unfair.

Although I think that Peter puffin Prisco is a dumb bunny, the Bills could give us a game... since they usually do. It's not entirely impossible.

If only that were true. Since the beatdown they put on us to open the 2003 season, the Bills have given the Patriots a game exactly once, which was last year's season opener (where wacky things always happen). Maybe the Bruschi comeback game too, though I remember the Pats having that one in hand in the 4th quarter. Every other game we've played since then, we've killed the Bills. Blowout after blowout. Sure, the Bills could give us a game, but considering how bad they are, how good we are, and how bad a matchup we are for them, it's way, way more likely we blow them out in easy fashion. Predicting otherwise means either you know something that everyone else doesn't (a virtual impossibility for the hack Prisco), or you're just stupid (highly likely in Prisco's case).

There will be close games this season, I don't see this being one of them. If last week's insanity couldn't distract them against the chargers how do you expect them to fare worse after a week of relative calm against a far inferior team?

I'm not expecting a beating like the Steelers laid on them, but I don't think a point spread of 16 is too unreasonable either. They should win by two touchdowns.

I can understand his logic in that it's a division game and the team is due for a letdown after all the energy shown last week along with the distractions from outside the games. I don't think it will be this game, however, as the team still has a chip on its shoulder and the majority of the players are healthy and ready.

I listen him once in a while down here in Jacksonville, and he hates the Pats. If I had a nickel for every time he said that Leftwich was a better QB than Brady, well, you know the rest. That loser was going off on the Pats about the scandal, and had done zero research into it. My dad tried to call the show, but the producer felt that he didn't have a topic worth discussing. My Dad was going to say that maybe the Jags problem is that they don't have a coach that's willing to expose the loopholes and find advantages for his team that other coaches don't have the ability to do. I guess they felt that Prisco wouldn't have been able to embarrass Dad.

As others have said here many times Prisco HATES the Pats.

Why, why, why do you guys read or listen to ANY of these guys?
Time and again, I read better analysis here from Box, Moe, DaBruinz, AxPatFan, Ken, Osw and dozens of others I did not mention. I don't waste ANY of my time watching, listening to or reading these guys. The only guys I 'read' are folks like Reiss, Chris Price, and sadly the departed Breer and mostly I use YOUR posts here to drive me to them.

I save time, get quality insight and analysis, plus I avoid the frustration of reading an idiotic, ill-informed poorly reasoned, agenda driven opinion.
Don't click on these guys, you're making them rich.
