Cause he is the GOAT QB. Just ask Denver fans, Indy fans, and Chris Simms. They will tell you.
True, I've seen plenty of them hate on Manning for the choker that he isFunny thing is, a lot of Denver fans don't even believe that anymore.
I hate that I have to feel a slight twinge of wanting to see Brock right now. But throwing 2 picks a game does that to me I guess.
So it begins.
is being 39 allowed on the injury report "old"
He's just gonna be a pile of chunks by December.
December?
I think this is all part of the media and Dever's "the Manning excuse tour". It reminds of the time when ever Steve McNair got an owey it made the national news because the narrative was just how tough and courageous he was. At the same time nothing was ever heard about Brady's toughness until some time after the season, it leaked out that he'd had surgery on something.
(BTW- Steve McNair WAS a tough QB who took a lot of hits because of his running ability. But there came a point where the media just made too much of it for my taste/ It w;as sort of. like what they are doing with Manning, all ball washing and excuses . Meanwhile there are tons of players who stoically man up and play with the pain.
A trait of an aged player is getting injured more and not rebounding from injuries.
Hell, that's true for us non-players too!
It's only Peyton manning with a foot injury. Did it really deserve a thread and all the negative comments ?
You know what the weather's going to be like in three weeks? Man, I wish New England weathermen (and women) were that good.
.....until the NFL unveils a little used tiebreaker rule that when both teams are undefeated the tie breaker is team name alphabetically. In fact, if both us and bengals win out I think we would take it on strength of victory and possible strength of schedule. Certainly points if it gets that far
Funny thing is, a lot of Denver fans don't even believe that anymore.
Chiefs can win...if they score 5 or 6 defensive touchdowns. It's going to be 70F here in Denver this Sunday. The cold weather is not here yet so those of you looking for some help from old man winter will have to wait. That being said I'm not sure the Chiefs can win with that awful QB they have.
