Penalties being considered for the Pats - UPDATED 1/1/2020

Bottom line - the person who is at fault here is the producer, who should have told the Bengals he was going to film their sidelines for part of the documentary. In all likelihood, Cincinatti would have said no based on spygate. Patriots don't do the documentary. End of story.

statement from producer:

Progessive Field is where the Indians play, not the Browns. This guy wasn't even at the right stadium.

Was that the time the Jets were found to be filming at Gilette in ‘06?

It was January of 2007. Keep in mind the rules:

1. The home team HAS to give the video coordinator (usually an intern) a specified, legal location.
2. You can only have 1 of these people in the stadium.

Teams film to this very day. I remember when Goodell said he'd do spot checks of teams' tapes. We've never heard of it, just like the PSI "study. Don't be fooled.

The video coordinator, filming anything from nervous ticks, patterns, hand motions, footwork, hands in the dirt, what someone does on 3rd down and 3, etc, whatever it may be, is still captured from the specified location. This is not the end zone 22 tape either.

I am sure BB thought it was arrogant that Manboobs asked for an additional spot.

Hence, why he did what he did in Week 1 in NY.

It was never illegal to film hand signals pre Goodell. That's what the media leaves out, which is why all these older coaches who were out of the league in 2006, were all either confused or calling Goodell full of crap with his ruling.

They didn't know Goodell changed the wording to include "including hand signals".

The truth is, Goodell was hired to find ways to cheat our team because of how great BB is. They knew the dominance would not go away, so they tried to make it hard on the team, with all of this.

This is why the rules changed for offense, too.Well, that, and for ratings. This is why BB started building his team for offense FIRST, where before that, he built it defense first.

BB knows what has been going on. This is also why they knew Deflategate was a framejob. No way Brady lies to BB and Kraft. NO way.

He was also deflating something .

Maybe he had breakfast burrito from Taco Bell and a large coffee for breakfast

My favorite part is when people challenge things that aren't there, as they ignore more obvious tells and facts that show the truth.

Intent alone is the dead giveaway. There isn't any.

It shouldn't matter if someone took a piss, picked their nose, flossed, ,fixed their hair or surfed on their phone during a piss break.

It's not anyone's business what someone does on a break. That's the point.

This is guy is questioning "8 mins".. lmao

Patriots 2020 draft picks:

1st round (own)
- 3rd round (own)
- 3rd round (projected compensatory pick: Trey Flowers)
- 3rd round (projected compensatory pick: Trent Brown)
- 4th round (via Chicago Bears)
- 6th round (via Houston Texans: Keion Crossen trade)
- 6th round (via Denver Broncos: Duke Dawson trade)
- 6th round (projected compensatory pick: Malcom Brown)
- 6th round (projected compensatory pick: Cordarrelle Patterson)
- 7th round (via Seattle Seahawks)
- 7th round (via Falcons)
- 7th round (via Philadelphia Eagles)

Losing a 1st rounder would screw this franchise's future.

Hey there Mr Bundle of Joy, isn't this the eighteenth different doomsday type prediction you've made in the last month?

Here's some news for you. This team may have its issues but they ain't quitting. I love that about this team.

Anyway enjoy your "everything sucks" BS.

Come to think of it, that’s a better explanation for calling someone the “deflator” then the “losing weight” reason the team put out.

The Deflator was a big boy

It would because he's never done it and would be the firs time, so, yes it would. Thanks.

The proper phrase would have been "for once." And it misses the point that since Kraft has never stood up for this team he never will.

That excuse didn’t work in the last controversy....

If the producer says he left the bathroom door unlocked, that may give him some leeway.

Apologies for going off on a tangent, but in a "scandal" loaded with ridiculous things, people finding significance and sinister intent behind McNally locking a bathroom door was underrated. Someone locking the door when they go into a single person public bathroom is a completely normal thing to do. No one, unless it's their fetish, wants people to walk in on them when they're using the bathroom.

Ewwwww

???

Patriots already said they were guilty Monday night. Someone involved should have known they weren’t supposed to film the field and didn’t communicate that properly. Someone should be held responsible.

The ultimate issue is that the Pats claim this was unintentional and not for football purposes but for entertainment purposes. The penalty the Pats receive will be based on whether the NFL is willing to believe them.

My point is, don't give the NFL any more ammunition.
