My Sister is a casual fan. She got her "news" from Collinsworth and Michaels. I had to explain the NFL does the headsets and it happen everywhere not just Foxboro. She asked a good question.

Why don't the broadcasters or their producers, cameramen, interns, etc. know that?

They must know but NBC sports means No Broadcasting Creditability Sports. I'd add a Brian Williams joke, but that is too easy.

Did he cheat? Um, that's a really good question! I'm not sure. I think I'd have to be there to see the ball, and feel it to make sure it was deflated or not deflated. But if there was question there, then yes, I think he cheated. If there were any question to be had, I think that he definitely cheated, and he should've been suspended for that. That's not fair.

I have two co-workers, a Dallas fan and a Saints fan.

The Dallas fan has been on board for a while that the Pars are innocent and are being railroaded.

The Saints fan is not a hater, but will still give me grief occasionally about the Pats, generally good-natured ribbing though. We were discussing the Pats-Steelers game and he volunteered that all these accusations are getting ridiculous and it's time for other teams to just shut up and play football.

There is hope. I think the non-haters who can honestly think for themselves and see what is really happening are steadily increasing.

Already unfriended this flapjack on Failbook, a Chokeland Faders lead-singer from a semifamous rock band, who equated PFT with "Patriots Football Talk." Made sure to take a potshot at Chokeland on the way out.

My Cowboys-loving bro falls beneath this description. I text-debated him upon the topic, he immediately trotted out Greg Hardy and Hilary Clinton. WTF? "What position does Hilary play again? And how many times did Brady strike his wife?"

Can't wait till we go to Big D and shut JJ's ginormous pie-hole, and that whole arrogant, irrelevant base.

Jerry Jones did not support the Pats during Defamegate, and just one month ago it looked like the Cowboys would get to face the Pats without Brady, now, it looks like the Cowboys will face Brady, but will be without Dez Bryant.

Is the word for this ironic, or does karmic fit better?

It's karma. I always see the other teams whining about how karma is going to get us, then it's THEIR team that suffers a huge injury. I find that hilarious.
