I've always felt Willie's leadership was overrated...his experience obviously had tremendous value...but a younger guy like Sey still has that all important fire in his eyes -- he's on a mission to go to the Hall -- the way he talks about "the next five years" gives me chills.

Parillo and traildragger: Why are we comparing who is a better influence in the locker room, Richard Seymour or Willie McGinest? This is like saying Derek Jeter related better to the Yankees younger players, in his era, than Reggie Jackson. However, to suggest that Seymour's fire to win burnt brighter than McGinest's is idiotic and slanted based on the fact that Seymour just re-signed and Willie just left.

for what it's worth, I felt that way BEFORE Willie left (playoff sack record be damned)...and was in fact hoping we would get younger at his position.

Apparently BB is also "idiotic and slanted" for letting him go -- or is it just me??
