Id like to understand the sense of putting Frank Kearse on IR?
He counts against the cap, he cannot return to back up injured players later in the season,
he is not so young anymore, he was going from club to club, did not show too much in preseason
plus NE already has great short-term future in Brown and Valentine?

Team probably did not have a choice. Can't simply cut injured players just to avoid paying their salary.
