Brady torches Bills defense
Looking to return to its recent Super Bowl form, the Patriots easily handled Buffalo as Tom Brady threw for four scores, including three to Troy Brown. The 14-year veteran showed that he hasn't lost much over the years, torching the Bills defenders for TD receptions of 17, 21 and 40 yards as he racked up 105 total yards on five grabs.
Brown scored twice in the first half as the Pats built a 20-6 lead, getting two field goals from new kicker Stephen Gostkowski, who ended a perfect 3-for-3 on the day. Brady, who finished the day with 263 yards passing, found tight end Ben Watson for a touchdown in the third quarter before connecting on Brown's final TD in the fourth. Willis McGahee scored the only TD for the Bills, but was mostly held in check by the Patriots defense.
