NFL already has visited New England to investigate potential protocol breaches

After the Titans' outbreak began, it took the league several days to show up to investigate whether the team followed all applicable COVID-19 protocols.

Funny how news of the Titans investigation only came out after the Newton thing. Why was that? They hadn't lifted a f**king finger to investigate for days. Yet they launched an immediate investigation into the Pats after 1 player. Where is the immediate investigation into the Chiefs? Game wasn't postponed just because the Pats had a positive. Chiefs were 50/50 with the Pats on this.

Still waiting on the Falcons investigation which was the first team to have someone test positive during the season and that was weeks ago.....

The same morons that couldn't get a handle on how to use the ideal gas law will now deploy their sophisticated understanding of epidemiology. Can't wait.

The reality is that either the protocols used in the Patriots facilities are so good that the League actually should reward us with draft picks for keeping the infection of the QB1 (!!) limited to only him, or -- more likely -- we got lucky that the viral loads that Newton is spreading when breathing are not big enough to act as the same kind of super-spreading event that the Titans had.

I know I am getting burned at the end of each of those investigations when I say it but there is nothing to see here. He and the team got notified immediately upon a positive test, he didn't continue attending team events or taking joy rides with a car while already being diagnosed but quarantined.

Nobody else so far has tested positive which in itself gives a lot of credit to the protocols in place and the players following them.
