Yes ... question BB

Cuz it matters
Yeah, and watch the next Pats game too, cuz like, it really doesn't matter anyway, like if you watch. In fact, just keeping doing everything in life that doesn't matter, cuz it doesn't matter anyway, if you do it or not.

I wouldn't say "hasn't looked anything like" so much as "hasn't always looked like." He showed a lot of flashes, but not with the consistency you wanted to see.
He was terrific in the Houston game. Afterwards his impact wasn't very noticeable. I thought it was related to his injury. But if a part of it was due to him not doing what he was supposed to do within the defense, that's probably why he's gone then.

Williams was never a member of the Patriots. The draft was held on April 24-25.

The transaction was used to make the team better.

That doesn't change the reality that the Patriots never had Williams, and never traded him. You'd claimed that the Patriots traded Williams:

The Pats traded Drew Bledsoe and won the 2001 SB.
They traded Lawyer Milloy and won the 2003 SB.
They traded Madeiu Williams and won the 2004 SB.
They traded Logan Mankins and won the 2014 SB.

The poster noted that they hadn't, which was correct since he was never a member of the Patriots.

Eventually the 56 pick wound being Williams.

Are we stuck in a loop here, or something? You claimed they traded Williams. The Patriots never had Williams to trade, which is what was noted in response to your claim. You pointed to 4 player trades and tried tying them to SB wins, and you got two wrong. It happens. There's nothing more to it. Let it die.

Why should we after all the years of success? after all the trades we disagreed with and moves we didn't like... and us being proven wrong for the most part... why dont we wait to see if this is one of the few failures or bad decisions before we go too crazy?

I think I just said this.

The trade of the 56th pick was used for Williams. Williams for Dillon.

I read a piece (markDanielsPj), and Collins used the words ´´me`` or ´´my`` at least 50 times in a 200 words response. I guess that + turn down 11m per tell a lot about him

Just woke up this morning, still don't like this trade. I've tried to look at all sides, just can't defend it. In no way does this make an underachieving defense better. No way.

That's the problem with moves that are done with a heavy internal component. From the outside view the trade is puzzling and I'm dismayed with it. However, if (just putting out a few possibilities out there) Collins' effort level is not there and in addition to that he was freelancing too much without making the necessary plays, it looks somewhat different. In the end it's a similar situation to Easley's release (albeit on a significantly higher level).

I hear you, but wasn't it just last year BB was praising him. Even said we are lucky to have him on our team? I get what you're saying though, just trying to digest this still.

No one likes this trade.

However if you believe the reports that his play and the entire defense suffered because the team was not going to pay him Von Miller money then it is easily justifiable.

So any potential trade rumors brewing can we expect anymore wheeling and dealing?

Trade deadline is today 4PM, so not a lot of waiting left.
