It's easy, and only takes a few moments. Its actually about average for WR's at the combine, so not sure why you picked at that measurable specifically. I'll take average from a D3 tryout. Welkers vertical was 30 inches btw.35 inch vertical jump is awful.
Another slow small white guy as a camp body.
The inevitable welker and edelman comps are way off base
With Welker, Edelman, and Amendola all now history who do we have at “slow small white receiver” now? The depth chart is thin there iirc. It’s an important position in the Patriots’ offensive scheme.35 inch vertical jump is awful.

Don't mind Sam. He's Mr. Negativity for literally anything he wasn't touting. Its actually about average for WR's at the combine, so not sure why you picked at that measurable specifically. I'll take average from a D3 tryout. Welkers vertical was 30 inches btw.
The kid isn't slow. Hand-timed at 4.4. This is a kid who clearly plays faster than his times as well. Not saying he's going to be the next Welker, Edelman or even Givens.. But I wouldn't count him out from making the PS and pushing others to be better. Particularly since he brings Special Teams ability. EDIT: And TONS of intangibles. With Welker, Edelman, and Amendola all now history who do we have at “slow small white receiver” now? The depth chart is thin there iirc. thats a lot of spaghetti to throw at the wall! What seems weird to me is that we already have an overflowing WR room filled mainly with lower-end players that we plan to cut or put on the PS. Wallis makes the 12th WR on the roster!

Wallis as in Wallace? Is his other name Morris?
Like Carter was for Parker.
Wallis as in Wallace?
Not the fastest straight line guy, but what he lacks in elite athleticism he makes up for with football smarts. Brings his lunch pail and hard hat to work everyday. First guy in, last guy out…turns the lights off and on at the facility. Deceptively quick. A real student of the game.
Fired up the ‘ol Cliche 5000, I see. It has fooled some posters here already.
He came from a great family but a rough situation? Yikes! i'll need to read up on this kid.
Someone posted on Xitter that, with Wallis, there are six rookies, five WRs and one DB, from DIII this year. Can't think of any DIII players getting signed here recently, so thats an achievement in itself. He's got the odds stacked against him though. Very few DIII players ever make it to NFL rosters. I'm guessing there were about 5 in the entire league last year.
not what i meant. pronounciation is same as “wallace”(?)Nope. David Wallis.. Not Caedan Wallace.

Reportedly the Krafts appreciate his sacrifices to help improve the ownership bottom line.If true, this guy is not very smart. The Patriots have a cafeteria and will provide him with the necessary equipment, including a helmet. They also have a custodial staff to handle things in/around the facility. No wonder he wasn't drafted, I'm curious about his Wonderlic score.
