I'm no so sure. They start out in a four-point stance and the first contact is pretty much shoulder to shoulder. Then it's all hand technique to throw the opponent off balance. These guys are routinely over 300 pounds. It's probably a pipe dream but I wonder if any NFL personnel guy has ever looked at them.

The big guys like the Hawaiian Yokozuna must have been 450 pounds! Tough to get those guys out of the Sumo lifestyle though. You're really treated like a rockstar in Japan if you're a sumo wrestler and like a God if you reach the upper echelon's of that sport. Hey...., I guess that's kinda like football players too.

An avid UConn fan, I always liked big Ed. He had a pretty admirable work ethic and although he wasn't the most talented of players, he always gave it his all.

I'm not sure if that's enough in the NFL. And i'm not sure he'd be a good NFL TE. But hey, i'm sure BB knows much more about him than me.

Have any of you guys seen Jai Lewis, star of the George Mason PATRIOTS? He wants to play tight end too. Given his body and his athleticism I wouldn't put it past him.
