That is one aspect of BJGE that I am sure Belichick does not overlook.
I believe the current touches number was up around 475 (approx.) when Gruden mentioned it, and it is truly remarkable.
He may not be an 'explosive' and fast RB, but when he gets going, he can be extremely effective.
One more player on 'patsfans.com' that somehow managed to break the "he'll never see the field/ he'll NEVER make the team" label...
I think we need one/two more options for a change of pace RB, but it appears that we have that in a nice combo of Woodhead, Faulk, Ridley, and even possibly Vereen.
As long as the O-line continues to improve, and the coaches commit to the running game, I see them at least being effective down the stretch to the point to where they can at least keep the other team's guessing, and hopefully even suck up some clock.
