Pats offense the "2nd best unit"

And ya' know, I've heard that this defense is old every year, still hasn't slowed them down yet.

4th in yards allowed and 5th in points allowed. (Just shows that our offense put them in bad position and had too many turnovers.) For instance, Joey Harrington gift wrapped 2 INTs for Samuel against the Pats that he returned deep in to Miami territory. That's 14 extra points pinned against the Dolphins defense that they didn't deserver.

Note: Add Joey Porter to that mix.

I meant more short term. Who do you think they will resemble? What about the Rams w/ Warner and the greatest show on turf? Do you think it will rival the best offenses of all time?

Well if we kept Brady clean against Merriwoman and Phillups in the Playoffs, and I think Brady threw the Ball Like 50+ times, I think we'll manage against a less talanted duo.:singing:

Not to mention you might not want to Blitz the pats, instead keep a few extra DB's in the game.

2 comments: I was surprise the Pats offense was rated so high. I was surprised the Bears Defense were concider better units than BOTH the Pats and Phins defenses.

BTW- If I had to write the same column, I would have included the Pats defense BEFORE I'd include the offense. Right now that group haven't done a THING on the field.

For pure upside I agree with the article but I agree with you.

Although we played a somewhat weak offensive schedule last year we had a great defense that's added a pro bowl LB and is getting Harrison and Wilson back. Until injuries hit, the defense could be positively sick.

Jason Taylor was the defensive player of the year. He's the best in the game on that side of the ball.
