Start with offensive line and then get to QB and WR after all-22 is out.
Interesting test for the line, Titans are a team that gets pressure from blitz and from inside and it showed. Brown struggles inside against the better players. Robinson was in early before they moved Onwenu inside and he struggled again in pass pro.
You can kind of see when teams have a strong interior line the interior line of the Patriots, outside Onwenu, struggles a bit more.
Lowe, Onwenu and Jacobs were overall pretty good or at least solid most of the day. Brown struggled the most, Robinson next based on # of plays he had and then Jordan. Maye actually had a good pocket on most throws, but the middle pressure was troublesome and caused some bad decision and caused him to take some hits as he threw.
Lowe has shown so far in 2024 to be a quality starting Left Tackle. I'd like to have seen him against Bosa or some better rushers but he has handled what he has had to face pretty well in every game he has played. He did have one play where he tried the one hand punch and defender just knocked his hand back and he got off balance and defender had free rush to Maye but Maye got rid of ball quickly. Was one of few plays he was solidly beat. His sample size is getting up there and he seems to continue to be consistent.
Seems like every run play 1 guy misses his block or gets bad leverage or doesn't get to the second level timely. I don't know what the solution is but they just can't create running lanes because 1 person seems to screw up every running play. It is not always the same person. Not sure the Brown/Jordan combo is what you want long term, I think upgrading there would go a long way to improving the run blocking. Maybe Strange can come back and do that for 1 of those guys.
Jacobs seems to be getting better, just unclear if the level of rusher he is facing is helping him or he is just way better suited for right tackle. I still think they could use an upgrade there as well. Lowe and Onwenu seem to be keepers. Brown and Jordan need to be upgraded. Jacobs probably does needs to be upgraded but we will see as the season plays out because as he has improved.
