Pats have decent shot at #1 Scoring D in NFL this year

I don't know how to feel about this D anymore

The broncos and chiefs looked like all time defenses last night, and gave up 30 and 27 points to pretty underwhelming offenses

Meanwhile we look like garbage most of the time but keep points off the board

What does it mean basil

It's what some of us and Belichick have been saying all along.

When you go all out on blitzes and are more agressive you may "look" stronger at times. But if you give up TDs more often you are not. Bend don't break offenses go entirely on the assumption that big plays lose games. (same is true with bad special teams) and also if you make the other team make 13 consecutive plays to score, their odds go way down.

That is why "scoreboard" is the only D stat that matters.

If bend dont break holds up in the last 2 minutes of our playoff games against the best teams, and we win then Im all for it. I personally dont feel the Patriots were bending and not breaking when they won superbowls. And even if they were, The talent on defense in all 4 superbowl wins was far superior than what we have now. Gotta have the players
