Don't know if he's referring to the incompetent Covington there, as Bret Bielema was our DL coach in 2019 and Covington was the OLB coach, though there might've been some cross-over instruction since there was no DC that year (cheap-ass Kraft & Bill)...

I saw that yesterday and my first thought was Covington, but the DL coach was Bret Bielema.

Don't know if he's referring to the incompetent Covington there, as Bret Bielema was our DL coach in 2019 and Covington was the OLB coach, though there might've been some cross-over instruction since there was no DC that year (cheap-ass Kraft & Bill)...

He's referring specifically to his position coach if you remember. He was told to stay home and he was fined for getting into it with the DL coach he didn't say anything regarding covington. Yeah when you are paying guys with D'Angelo gift cards you get what you pay for! As I mentioned before the commensurate salaries for OC & DCs are 1 million. That is the reason he never was big on giving guys titles.

Yes! I remember caleys situation Callahan reported he was approached with the OC job but he wouldn't be given the tittle so he turned it down in 2022.

Oh your right on that point. Bill is a coaching and NFL mastermind. He knows all the rules, by laws everything about contracts ect. He knows what a DC or OC position commands when named an actual coordinator. I'm just a fan too like you. But some things are obvious.
