It rained that game? I remember Herschel Walker running for a 60yd TD in OT, but I don't remember rain.

Then again I watched it on TV.

It was pouring and it was freezing.

The worst thing about it was that I took the train back to Boston and there was no heat on the train. I was drenched and didn't get back to my apartment for 2 hours. MISERY!!!!!!!

Thursday night games SUCK. People don't like going to them as it is, then add a cold rain to the mix, and you have people staying home.

Football should be played on Sunday, and one game Monday night. This Thrusday night BS has to go. It's just a vehicle for the NFL network to make some cash.

I didn't mind them as much until I learned that because of them, the NFL abandoned playing games on Saturday late in the season. I liked having football on both Saturday and Sunday that time of year. Especially if it gave me a chance to avoid talking to annoying relatives during holiday visits.
