FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots signed TE Garrett Mills today. Terms of the contract were not announced. In addition, the Patriots released S Bret Lockett and rookie free agent OL Zach Roth.

It will take many years to unlock the residue of genius that lies within the mind of Mills. The wisdom of the information gleaned will empower this team for generations. It is nothing short of a crime that Brad effing Childress is no longer a cornerstone of the league. Even without my shoes, I could not come close to counting the number of times Childress has outsmarted BB.

I sense he is playing for the year and he is unafraid to make any move that he suspects that will help this team immediately in the present.
