Agree. But having a stellar game in the National primetime slot made it easy for them. Now they just need to flex a few more of our games this season into primetime.

Wonder if the second Bills game might be a candidate? It’s 1:00pm on Sunday 12/14, the first game after the Pats bye week. Might be a candidate for flexing to a national slot.

I was just looking at that. Week 10 the 4:05 CBS game is AZ vs SEA. Cardinals aren’t looking all that good and Seahawks are only a little better. At best that likely has playoff implications to see if Cardinals can spoil Seahawks wild card aspirations. Patriots roll for the next few weeks the Tampa Bay game may look like a much better marquee matchup. I could see that being flexed.

Week 15 is interesting,
MNF is MIA @ PIT. The way the ‘Phins are playing I’d say that’s a candidate to get flexed out.

Flex decision must be made at least 12 days ahead, which is after all the week 13 games, and before any of the week 14 games. That would mean the decision could be made after the last Pats game before the Bye Week. Week 14 Bengals play at the Bills.

To me it seems likely the Pats-Bills rematch could look very attractive for MNF week 15. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

How about week 16? Pats at Baltimore.

I was looking to see what the next game after MNF might be. Don’t think it would be too bad if we got flexed to MNF. But Ravens might be fighting for their playoff lives if they’re not already out of it by then. So that one might even be a candidate to flex to the 4:00 game.

Depends on if Baltimore can bounce back this season ... their defense has been putrid
