Patriots WRs Will Have Interesting Matchups With Miami's Corners

Steve Balestrieri

When the Patriots take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon at Foxboro, they

should have noted that the seahawks OL is in a bigger mess than the pats

Steve Tell the Miami DC good luck trying to contain the squirrel...JE and Hulkamania not to mention DA and the Rookie Mitchell. Oh and did I mention James White - M. Bennett and Derby? M Bennett will be more of a factor in the receiving game this week I think we are going to spread Miami out like we do any other AFC-East Team we ain't running on them.

Good article, the matches are interesting. I expect Edelman to torch the Dolphins as per usual. I would like to see Derby get involved and Foster if he is active. My x-factor in all this is actually James White. He is a solid receiver and can line up anywhere. I think he will matchup well against that defense. Plus, once they start accounting for him, others should be open.

One thing to note about the 2016 James White he's much improved in the Blocking department. White Blocked very well last game: White might be in Shane Vereen's territory now. Also White's play is the reason why DJ Foster was inactive..I think Foster could add some Bulk and work on the Blocking aspect of his game. Knowing how important the Third Down Back position is to our Offense BB often go with seasoned or Second year players at the position and not Rookies. We can see that in the case of Shane Vereen and now James White.

Miami has a good D-Line and speed at LB. Running will be an issue, but the short passing game should be there.

I think this is an interesting game to see how Jimmy handles the inside pressure from Suh. The one good thing is that i think our defense will create turnovers from Tannenhill

The real key is how our O-line plays and if we need the rb to pass protect more than expected. I think we might see a bit more of Bolden than we think in this game

Eh still very much a question on how much of their DL will play.

Earl Mitchell who was a starter went on IR
Mario Williams in in concussion protocol
Jordan Phillips their #3 DT missed practice

So we'll see.

and how they play together. Last year was a mess. I'll be interested to see if they blitz a lot to rattle Jimmy or play them like Brady and play more guys in coverage and hope their D-Line can create pressure winning 1x1 battles.

Not to mention if Gronk is GTG for this game.......Pats have too many weapons for Miami to defend...JMHO

That's what happens when you trade pro bowl Centers and 1st rounders for TEs that don't block.

sure......but it's just a point of emphasis

and seattle is a notorious slow starter anyway

according to BB, Miami has the best ST we will face all season.

Last year was a mess.

Well only one lolphins game was a mess, the one that Belichick is still kicking himself over how he went about that game. The one at home was a 29 point win.

I have liked Bolden for a while and I do not like to put players in the doghouse, but that said, I hope to never see him carry the ball again. We have so many great ST players, if a good running back pops I would like to see him replaced.

BB loves guys can play Special Teams, great lockerroom guys and always out there for practice. The truth is he's the 4th/5th rb who we never want to see play. But, with all of the injuries and his solid blocking he's played more than expected. As a starter or backup he's not good, but as the 4th/5th string rb he's fantastic

To be honest haven't paid much attention to Bolden's Blocking. But If he is as good as you say I wouldn't mind seeing him as the lead RB occasionally on First and Second Downs so we can send our TE's down the Seams.

Edelman/Hogan should feast on those short outs this game. Their LBs are just not that good. Give up on any hope of running the ball (particularly inside) right now. Run some to keep them honest and bounce a few to try to get some big gains but know it won't take you far.
