As soon as I saw the title I knew it had to be a Bob George article....

Special Teams had two great plays, one bad, and two terrible.

Two Great Plays -

Field Goal Block - great athletic play definitely saved the team 3 points

Punt downed at the 1 - directly contributed to the ensuring safety on the next play

One Bad -

A punt that was all but guaranteed to be downed at the 9 yard line was kicked into the end zone DOH

Two Terrible -

You already know where this is going, the fumbles.

Jones's fumble was the far more egregious.........if you have no intention of fielding a punt, WHY do you feel the need to follow it?!?!?!? He got dangerously close to the punt prior to the one he touched.



While special teams is certainly the attractive headline, we can't let it overshadow the great performances by the offense and defense.

Oh no, not Bob George! I won't even click it. I thought the win was very special! The Pats overcome some stupid mistakes that made the game a lot closer than it was!

The night was tough only because of self-inflicted wounds, not because of anything that Harbaby,
Jump-ball Joe Flaccid, or the rest of the murderer-worshippers did. The halftime score should have
been 23-0, and the filthy ratbird scum would've likely been held to 10 points or less.
