I agree with the description for each position however I agree with PFS74 the grading was generous in most categories. If C is average then most of the C- need to be D-. Thanks for the post.

"Report Cards" for NFL games should be very simple.
You win? The grade is "Pass."
You lose? The grade is "Fail."
No blame. No "moral victories."
It's a team game, everyone succeeds or fails together.

Interesting thought. There are four or five groups to the team, offense, defense, coaching, special teams and kicking that could be included in offense. We could have everyone in each group play very well and have the defense play poor and lose the game for the team. So is just win or lose a fair rating ?

First of all, I don't buy that any one unit actually does "lose the game for the team." The team loses the game. Otherwise, why not have Standings for "Offense," Defense" and "Special Teams" instead of a single team W/L record. There are plenty of other ways for individual Position Players and Assistant Coaches to get judged, cut, fired, re-signed or paid more money based on performance, but "teams" just "win" or "lose."

"Fair?" I'm not even sure that's a relevant category when all that counts is "who won?" and "who lost?"
