I don't understand what you are asking?? Presumably no one would challenge a call unless it's a turnover or should've been called a turnover.
You said that not all fumbles result in turnovers. Which is true. I only said that challenges come into play when someone thinks it's not a turnover or should have been a turnover.I don't understand what you are asking?
Yeah I don't get what your saying. Field position, first downs, completions just to name a few other reasons to challenge. You said that not all fumbles result in turnovers. Which is true. My problem is there are sites all over that interpret the rules the way I do, that the league website is no help since clearly things that fall under article 2 (like spotting the ball) are challengeable, so even if you're right, everyone is still confused. Not only me.Yeah I don't get what your saying. Field position, first downs, completions just to name a few other reasons to challenge.
And actually the point I've been trying to make is that plays that are turnovers are not challengeable and they can only be initiated by the booth. On the flip side plays that aren't turnovers but should have been a turnover are challengeable and I think that's one of the things that's been confusing you.
Yeah the NFL doesn't do itself any favorsMy problem is there are sites all over that interpret the rules the way I do, that the league website is no help since clearly things that fall under article 2 (like spotting the ball) are challengeable, so even if you're right, everyone is still confused. So what we're left with is that the league deliberately chose not to review a fumble that wasn't.
