I don't know that Hopkins would want to go to a 2-5 team that also has one of the toughest schedules in the league is all I'm saying.

I didn't mention it, but I could see KC being willing to trade for him. Same with Indy (though I doubt the Titans would send him there). I could see Seattle, Cleveland, Detroit, Atlanta, and Tampa being interested in him.. It all depends on what the Titans can get from a team that Hopkins wants to go to.

if we can pull off a win against an injured Miami team, Pats will be 3-1 in the division

not an amazing sell.. but if they can keep pulling off some wins and trending in the right direction, its not impossible to turn things around. They played the Eagles and Dolphins (round 1) close down to the final seconds of the game, very competitively.. then beat the Bills

They have the ability, they just need to consistently put it together

It would annoy me a little if they had a shot at Hopkins in free agency, chose not to pull trigger, then 8 weeks into season trade draft capital for him.. but I think he would be a hell of a lot better than Parker or JuJu as our #2

they should have flown down to Miami on Tuesday and practiced all week outside

the humidity is going to kill them, you cant simulate that kind of heat/humidity with hoodies and long sleeves

in the past, Bill sometimes had the team go down there early in the week to adjust (similar to some teams with Denver)

I get the very strong impression that Gronk does not love the Patriots like, say, Tedi Bruschi or even Rodney Harrison.

honestly this comes across to me like Gronk trying to force a media topic

He's very unnatural behind the camera... its like he had a note in front of him to stir up some light controversy lol

They were 1-5, that Bills game was their superbowl to keep any hope of the season alive

i like it, Slater is the only one around from that era... i think its good for the team to continue to establish its own culture and identity, especially in the locker room

I loved the Awww Yea when Bruschi did it.. was more indifferent in the later years when Slater continued it, not sad that its gone.. i look at it as part of the identity of the dynasty, and the dynasty is over

Not happy about that I mean a UDFA could do that not what we were expecting from a Second Rounder.

Not sure how I feel about this. I know Bill says football players play football but this seems like unnecessarily dialing up the injury risk on a guy who is an injury magnet.

Feels like I'm watching a scene from The Graduate all over again...

The rest of the football world: Bill, this whole idea of using BoneyT on STs sounds pretty half-baked.

Bill: No it's not; it's completely baked.

That 2019 road win was, shall we say, memorable for a couple of reasons...
Funny thing is I knew I jumped the shark as a fan when I was angry after the 43-0 beating. I thought they should have won by 70 and had so many missed opptys.

Maybe Bill let-up in the hopes that Flo would reciprocate at the end of the season if we needed it...
