I'm quickly losing, have nearly lost all patience with Gostkowski. I still believe he can bounce back but he has just been pathetic on his FG's this season.
Are you not watching the game? There's perfectly valid concerns. Especially when you look at the key players injured for the Steelers. Context is kind of important.
Cutting him is probably a last resort if you think he's incapable of rebounding next year, since it wouldn't save anything on the cap this year. IMO probably better off IRing and replacing him, then giving him a chance to win the job back next year
