Patriots vs. Jets: Five Questions With Jeff Capellini of CBSNewYork.com
By: Russ Goldman

Jeff Cappellini of CBSNewYork.com joins me this week for "Five Questions" to give me his thoughts on the Jets game....

"...unless they totally man up in what will be a hostile environment against a team brimming with confidence, they will be riding a three-game slide by Monday.

I say Jets win 24-16."

Wow. There's a little nugget Bill Belichick should have taped inside everybody's locker on Sunday morning. Look for the Patriots offensive line to have a great game - that's a nasty group of guys to get riled up.

Its a War of Words with Jets fans

The Gang Green Show is a show by the Jets fans for the Jets fans, but also for the rest of the 31 NFL teams. We all know the intense rivalry between the Jets and The Patriots.

Well this Sunday before kickoff, starting from 7pm until 8pm EST, The Gang Green Show will be on LIVE, Jason Halliburton & Naim Williams El return return back and better than ever from Atlanta, GA, Live from Mazzy's Sports Bar (The Official Atlanta Jets Bar) here on BlogTalk Radio.

Jason and Naim will be talking about the Patriots at Jets show down, the fight for the right to claim 1st place in the AFC East and some of the games played in week 10.

We want all Patriots fans to Call-In to the show and give your 2 cents about the Jets, and upcoming game. Will Brady wither under the Jets pass rush, will Wes Welker get roughed up by Revis? It will be an INTENSE fan to fan war of words, stats and facts. But please no profanity, keep it intense but clean.

2011 Patriots TO Diff....

So, does anyone still want to argue that the turnover ratios of the past two seasons MASKED an average to below average defense? In 2010 the Patriots were +28 and were exposed in the playoffs against the NYJ because the opponent DID NOT turn the ball over.
In 2009 the Patriots were +6 (#4 in AFC) and were throttled by a team that didn't turn it over in the playoffs. I was harping on this the last two seasons on here and to others, but some with blinders on did not want to admit this defense (and the team, really) was overly reliant on turnovers to bail out a poor defense. 2011 Patriots TO diff is ZERO....
Please, don't come at with "yeah, but the whole league this, Green Bay that, etc." I'm not concerned about other teams.
I'm very worried about this defense that really can't get stops when it matters most unless the other team f#cks up - or, as in the Dallas game, the other team plays right to the Patriots strength at the end of the game.
Successful teams always have a big positive ratio, but successful teams almost always have a defense with playmakers (something the Pats DO NOT HAVE) that can knuckle up and make stops when it needs to.
Tonight is going to show us everything we need to know about this team. Win, and fans can have some confidence in the team. Lose, and the Patriots are slowly becoming the Tin Man - the team without a heart. Then we can get ready to salivate over those first round picks that quickly turn into two third rounders and a second in 2013....
GO PATS
