We had AB signed before the opener, they lost that too. They don't get to claim title to winning anything this year, save one of the miami games.

I'm not saying we won't destroy them (I'm leaning toward 38-3 in alamo's game), but we've had interesting experiences in the past against QBs on whom we have almost no tape.

Then again, a lot of the worst games were with defenses that are much, much worse than the one taking the field Sunday.

This defense may well end up proving historically great. Throw historical stats out, this unit is on the level of 04. Falk gets crushed early, allowed to move the chains late, and the boys will be proud as hell every time they get to dance with a 4 up at the sticks. If the jets take the fgs they may hit double digits. If they go on 4th they'll get blanked too.

Leveon is going to snap after this ass kicking. The Jete are imploding in ways that only the Jete can, and we haven't finished out week 3 yet. Their ability to self implode is challenged only by AB. (Too soon?)

How long before Darnit has a fake injury to get some clipboard time like last year?

You DO NOT hit the quarterback after the ball is out of his hands. Some leeway should be given just because momentum is what it is, but that doesn't apply here -- Adams reached out and grabbed Mayfield, and he did it late enough that he should have known better.

Also -- keep mouthing off at NFL discipline. See where that gets you.

Just read a couple of bios on Jets QB Luke Falk and came away a bit nervous.
He and Brady were both picked #199 and have 8 letters in their names.
In college he took a lot of grief for his Brady worship and he was always wearing a TB12 hat and bought the book and changed his diet.
He is the all-time PAC-12 passing leader and quietly went 15-20 in relief last week.
It just seems like a perfect cinderella story so hoping the Pats D really continue their quest to be historically great.

There was a lot of crying on both sides about roughing the passer in that game. To me, there was one call that was somewhat questionable, the 'body weight' one, although by the rule it's a penalty. Every other time it happened in the game, it's been called that way for decades.

jests have played Josh Allen & Baker Mayfield, two 2nd year QBs

steelers have played Tom Brady & Russell Wilson, two SB winning QBs and guys that are perennially "MVP candidates"
