Patriots v Raiders

Oh yeah. He's also the man who fumbled twice in one play.

Raiders are going to be the hardest challenge in the AFC and they do have a legit shot to beat the Pats. They have a QB and weapons that can put up some points against anyone. They have one of the best OL's in the NFL which needs to be remembered. Probably the best after Dallas.

They have a few young playermakers on D.

The Pats are the favorite and should win but the Raiders have a path to victory.

They need

#1 Carr to play a very very good game - possible
#2 Their OL to allow little pressure and running lanes - also possible
#3 A few huge turnovers on D - also possible with Mack

IF they get those things they have a good shot. Will they get all 3? Probably not but it could happen and not just cause the Pats play bad.

Yeah the Raiders looked strong until Carr went down, they'll contend this year for sure.

The thing is, the Raiders seem to be the the 2nd best team i nthe AFC and there's a wide gap between them and the Patriots.

Their o-line/marshawn (assuming he's at least 90% of what he was 2 years ago) will help them this year. They'll need to raise the bar on defense to have any legitimate chance. The Patriots O looks to be scary (for opposing Ds, Personally I'm ecstatic to see them gel).
