I don't know about anyone else here and I realize it's early, but I can't recall a more dire start to training camp. Low expectations just keep going lower.

The Patricia as OC training camp was rock bottom. Every single practice, every single snap, everything about that camp, was one big flat rock bottom.

Last season's camp was slightly better, and we clung hard to that perceived improvement, but that went out the window as the season derailed.

I think what we're seeing so far (and what the rest of the year will show) is a marked improvement.

Another reason for the lack of optimism, at least on my part, is the relative inexperience of many of our coaches at their current positions, not only at OC but also at QBC, OL, WRs (still can’t ****ing believe that ****ing Kid ‘n Play is a ****ing coach on this ****ing team), CBs, Safeties & DC… No Ass-istant Coach of the Year candidates among them, that’s for sure.

On the bright side our WRs are lighting up our CBs

Reports I’ve been seeing make it seem we’ve got 8 WRs worthy of the roster.

And 1, maybe two or three, CBs.

Some people here have also mentioned our lack of experience and overall talent there, while others claim we have a top-8 secondary… If I’m an opposing OC and I see a backfield of Gonzo & Jonathan J outside, Marcus the fragile Midget in the slot, and Pep & Uncle Dugg deep (and with Covington, the lacrosse player & Little Billy’s kid as my opposite numbers), I’m licking my chops…

It's too early to panic. We do have a tough schedule. I should expect to see improved play by week 7. I can accept 5 wins if we are competitive but not winning in the last half.
