Have to imagine someone gets traded at WR if everyone is still healthy in a month.
Unless you get great value and/or massive cap relief : don’t do it. Ride it out and maybe even keep an extra WR if you believe in him. I just think we need production at that position. Let’s not go thinking ‘we have the late 80s SF squad here’.

Quantity and quality are two completely different things. You can still have a logjam without top end talent. I'm not saying force a trade, I'm saying I expect them to look into it in that scenario.

Ugh if we get three quarters of Hoyer Th. Could live with a 2 X 2 quarter split, but prefer to see Zappe get the majority of the snaps.
Definitely way more exciting from our standpoint to see Zappe, but for coaching up and evaluating the other 10 guys on the field, probably better to have Hoyer out there who can at least run the offense if not make the throws.

Is there a chance Zapp gets the start?

Check down Mac won't be checking down to Thornton at least we hope not.
He could turn on the jets and make it a big gain. Won't shock me to see some short passes to get him going to set up a deep shot.

Top things I will be looking for Thursday Night are Mac, O-line, Parker (if he plays), Thornton, rookie CB's and how the LB's are flowing to the ball.

Alright fun and jokes aside with the somewhat improvements on Offense...should we put an asterisk "*" on Todays practice with Barmore being out??

I hope we see very little, ideally none, of Mac, Parker, Thornton, and top CBs.

I’m more interested in the middle of the roster, looking for the guys competing for a slot or on the bubble. Only exception is OL, they need all the work they can get until they gel and start playing at the level we need them to.
