It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Doug didn't even take into account Tre Nixon, who has had a really good camp as well. This is a very deep position for us now. I guess we could have worse problems. lolHave to imagine someone gets traded at WR if everyone is still healthy in a month.
Just SC for shortThey should call Dalton Keene Street clothes he likes being in them what a waste of a Third Rounder.
Unless you get great value and/or massive cap relief : don’t do it. Ride it out and maybe even keep an extra WR if you believe in him. I just think we need production at that position. Let’s not go thinking ‘we have the late 80s SF squad here’.Have to imagine someone gets traded at WR if everyone is still healthy in a month.
Quantity and quality are two completely different things. You can still have a logjam without top end talent. I'm not saying force a trade, I'm saying I expect them to look into it in that scenario.Unless you get great value and/or massive cap relief : don’t do it. More good news on Thornton:
Definitely way more exciting from our standpoint to see Zappe, but for coaching up and evaluating the other 10 guys on the field, probably better to have Hoyer out there who can at least run the offense if not make the throws.Ugh if we get three quarters of Hoyer Th. Could live with a 2 X 2 quarter split, but prefer to see Zappe get the majority of the snaps.
More good news on Thornton:
He could turn on the jets and make it a big gain. Won't shock me to see some short passes to get him going to set up a deep shot.Check down Mac won't be checking down to Thornton at least we hope not.
I think CB's will be backing off Thornton by choice he's that dangerous! He could turn on the jets and make it a big gain. Won't shock me to see some short passes to get him going to set up a deep shot.
0.0Is there a chance Zapp gets the start?
I’ll be more excited if we don’t see much if any of him Thursday night.I'm excited to see Thornton Thursday night.
I hope we see very little, ideally none, of Mac, Parker, Thornton, and top CBs.Top things I will be looking for Thursday Night are Mac, O-line, Parker (if he plays), Thornton, rookie CB's and how the LB's are flowing to the ball.
