Mac Jones just threw back-to-back TDs and is 21 of 23 so far in practice against the Giants starting defense. He’s completed 14 consecutive passes.

Mac Jones just finished an 11-on-11 period 4-for-4 (two attempts wiped due to penalties). His best pass was a back-shoulder beauty to James White lofted about 20 yards down the right sideline. Thrown before White turned his head. Accurate ball. Great adjustment by White.

And on the 17th day, HE has risen

Holy smokes, I hoped Mac would do well today but it sounds like he's on FIRE... if he doesn't blow it at some point today, Bill may have a hard time giving the top spot back to Cam tomorrow...

I think Mac deserves to start the game on Sunday. Between Newton deserving to be benched for screwing up his COVID testing and how well Mac has played this week. That said. I am betting Belichick starts Cam on Sunday.

In all honesty though, Daniel Jones isn't a high bar to jump over. The guy showed some promise his rookie year, but was awful last year.
Yeah, at this point, I'm just thrilled that he's performing so well against the Giants number one defense. They have a decent secondary as well. Seems like he is making really good progress.
