Yeah, that was the part I wasn't sure about (how do they pick which network/matchup gets which slot?)

In the post-game locker room video from the win in Miami Belichick makes the comment "let's get ready to play our best football next Saturday night", so I guess it was already decided that the AFC top seed would get that spot since the other seeds had not been determined yet.

All playoff games on free tv in Germany, decent announcers and much less ads, good analysis and humerous social-media commentary instead...same time zone as Italia...you can record the late-night games but Super Bowl will kick off on Monday at 12:30 AM German time if my brother watches it live...

Playing divisional saturday is great. We get the extra day to prepare for who we are playing next.

Also, Miami, Oakland, Houston are all warm weather teams that have to come into foxborough on a cold January day, that gives us a huge advantage

Haha not quite, but I am a groomsmen. I would DVR the game and avoid any spoilers (I now live in NYC). However, the wedding is back in Boston (where I grew up) so I doubt I'll be able to avoid spoilers...
