I do think we'll have an easier time finding DTs for our new base rather than 3-4 ends.

Seems like our new guy has motivation problems, according to a Chicago paper. Will the lightbulb go on? If not, i predict a short stay.

Of course if he's in shape after a layoff, that would be a positive indication.

Harrison, a third-round draft pick in 2008, showed up for training camp out of shape for the second time in three summers. Harrison was caught in a numbers crunch and would have been the sixth defensive tackle. Considering he was entering the final year of his contract, the Bears couldn't keep a player who wasn't motivated to show up for the season ready to play.

Hopefully, the experience of getting cut will motivate him. If he doesn't play lights out when he gets the chance, he won't be on the roster long.

Marcus Harrison is a load 6'3 350 lbs or more. My guess is they brought him in for depth and to fall on top of Cowboys center Philip Costa after Big Vince and Fat Al turn him into a human speed bump.
