Player Signing Patriots Sign WR Stefon Diggs

Reminder this thread is actually about Diggs....

Diggs posted this on his instagram. Apparently he is a fan of Vrabes...

I think we did a superb job on the thread hijack. 12 pages!

As for Stefon Diggs apparently his contract is written so he can be whacked after one season if things go sideways.

As always, the longer it is before the fine print details emerge, the worse the actual contract is for the player. The agent and player both want the big headline number to be the news.

They are childish. They are asinine. They are an alternative to actual thought followed by actual expression. Perhaps your post demonstrates the dismal results when those who suffer from a need for such crutches attempt to express themselves in an adult manner, using words. It might indeed be best for you to stick to posting pictures. As for your adolescent compulsion to "push the buttons" of those who do not share your limitations, that is an embarrassment you would do well to overcome.

I like that... good one Ring... Alex van punt... I expect diggs to be all over the formation.. the guy can get open off one move.. guys foot work is just superior.. I feel like diggs, pop and Boutte will be our primary play makers.. at WR..
We are drafting one.

Because they are betting that the recovery will be 100% and as he displayed last year he is still a weapon. He is a great Route runner and has a plethora of releases. He has also shown a knack for teaching younger players. IMO, he is the best WR we could have signed and no OT out there are worth the money they are giving Diggs.

He was on track last year for his 7th consecutive 1K yard season. As hard as he is rehabbing, I would not be surprised if he comes back as strong as he was last year.

I didn't say anything about specifically spend it on a tackle.. as far as I am concerned the whole Offensive line needs changing from last year.

Whatever way you look at it, this really should have been a 1 year prove it deal due to it being ligament damage, I wouldn't mind it being all being guaranteed either on that year. Crazy its not similar to what others have signed in recent times. It shows desperation over common sense.

I split out the serious shows from the comedies but this, Seinfeld, Ted Lasso, and 2.5 Men are my favs in that comedy/light watching category.
My comedies in no particular order.

Seinfeld
Odd Couple
Mash ( first four seasons)

Stop just saying **** to try and support a narrative. Why do you say he hasn't been right?

You clearly have me mistaken for the idiot brigade. I don't "say ****" to support a narrative. I deal in facts. Diggs spent a good portion of of the 2022/2023 season and all of the 2023/2024 season unhappy in Buffalo and letting people know about it. He was an issue in the Buffalo lockerroom until he was finally traded in April of 2024. By all accounts, the Buffalo Lockerroom was glad to see him go.

Diggs wasn't placated with his brief stay in Houston. Houston had hoped that cancelling the last 3 years on Diggs' deal and giving him 20.85M signing bonus and a guaranteed salary of 1.21M, that they'd get the BEST of Diggs. Instead, they got what they got and chose to move on from him by trading for Christian Kirk. By all accounts, they didn't even approach Diggs about a new contract prior to Free Agency.

So, the Pats get an Diggs coming off a pretty serious ACL injury. An injury that takes 6 months post surgery to return from at 75% and 18 months to be 100%. A guy who shot his way out of Minnesota. Who shot his way out of Buffalo. Whom Houston though so "highly" of that they didn't bother to offer him a new contract. And you want people to think that he's "all right"? Sorry that I'm not buying what you're selling.

What "young players" has Diggs taught?

Stroud mentioned how Diggs would stay after practices and work with Dell, Nico, Metchie and Hutchinson.

This article mentions he worked with DBs as well. It's a tiny blurb.

Maybe the phrase teach them was hyperbole. He is willing to work with them and pass on knowledge.

I enjoyed the first season but it lost me after that. I found myself hating almost every character on the show except Ray and Terry. Dropped it season 3 I believe.

I loved it. The daughter ended up giving a great performance. And even though I’m no fan of Jon Voigt his performance as Mickey was as good as it gets.

That was another thing that threw me off, them changing the actress for the daughter after season one. Looked and behaved nothing like the previous actress did.
