One positive here - he would’ve shared the WR room in 2019 and 2020 in SF with Kendrick Bourne, so hopefully Bourne can help him get up to speed with how things operate in NE.

Probably about as bad an injury history as you can get but worth a flyer to fill out the 90 man roster.

Bill was said to be overjoyed shocked and confused that Hurd was available.
Was on record as saying what he did at the QB position last season gave him goosebumps which he said he couldn’t wait to see how Obrein draws up qb Draws bootlegs and play actions.

Reports are he was shopping Mac til he was told he didn’t sign Jalen Hurts and instead signed Jalen Hurd.

A confused Bill when told that Hurd was indeed a chronically injured WR perked up and said next best thing.

Interesting guy. 6'5", 225 lbs. Was a good RB at Tennessee for a few years until he had a concussion so he transferred to Baylor to switch to WR. Not sure about his injuries at the 49ers (back and ACL) but he was durable in college, except for the one time concussion.

Definitely an interesting profile, being a WR conversion from RB. Could figure to be a Cordarrelle Patterson-type if he can stay healthy in NE.
