Ha ha. Tebow.

Even with 90 roster spots he's wasting a spot!

:bricks::bricks::bricks:

The only guy in this town excited about this is Felger.

Personally, I don't care. As long as he is willing to do something other than QB, it probably won't hurt to let him come to training camp. Still think he is a long shot to make the final 53 man roster.

Here are the tweets:

The #Patriots are signing Tim Tebow, per a source.

Tim Tebow is heading to Foxboro as we speak. This happened very quickly -- in the last 24 hours. (@Edwerderespn first reported)

How will the #Patriots use Tim Tebow? He's going to play quarterback. Has never accepted playing another position.

Guys. This is belichick. He knows how to make players excel and bring out their best ability. Basically saying don't expect him to be a qb. Theyll use him as a rb/te combo. Dudes built like a rock. And will be great for the locker room environment.

and here we go

So damn STUPID.

I like Tebow but only as a QB! And obviously that's not happening here so....

Well Bill, enjoy the circus.

Patsfans posters, get ready for Tebow's army of idiots to come flooding to the board.

Is there another 'All Fool's Day' like the one at the beginning of April? Is it today, by any chance?

This message board is about to crash

I guess bill doesnt hate Tebow after all. That reporter must really look stupid right now.

I raise my eyebrow at the QB component of this.

If so, he'll get a few reps in training camp and pre-season.

We have no information on what changed rapidly in the last 24 hours, and it may well have been a conversation with Tim Tebow that there might be an interesting opportunity with the TE/FB injury situation. The perception of Tebow as a QB in a challenging read-the-defense system certainly has not changed.

Worst case, creates a little bit more fun during training camp.

I'm very confused about this. The guy is not a good quarterback by any stretch of the imagination and he invites a media circus that the team typically frowns upon. Very confusing move.

Lmao. Good one. When Bertrand reported it I thought we just got iginaled.

Kafka got cut, per Reiss, making Tebow QB3 for the moment.

Patriots also announce the release of QB Mike Kafka and DL DeWayne Cherrington.
