Thanks That means we only have 16 more players left to sign. If we add the 11 picks and 3 UDFA's that we usually have in camp, we only have TWO slots left for the full FA market. Not a lot, which leads me to believe we will be trading at least 2 of those picks to move up or into next year. 11 picks really are too many rookies when you figure keeping 6 is a sign of a great draft class. Why make all those picks when you are going to only keep 6 or 7, Better to use them to move up or out into 2024word is that we brought back Mills to play safety... he's no longer a cb apparently...
and per OTC, we currently have 74 players under contract

When I use the PFN mock draft site, I always get offers to trade down into the 20's and take 2nd's and 3rd next year. I always reject them. If we are trading down I want picks in the 2nd and 3rd. THAT's where I feel the real value is this year. So unless the guy who is #1 on our board is there (ie Witherspoon or Jones/Johnson), I'd DEFINITELY trade down. Then use those 4th round picks to trade UP in the 2nd and 3rd. rounds
I recently did a mock where I traded down to 27 and got late 2nd and 3rd. Harrison OT with 27, and got a TE (washington) and CB (Forbes) in the 2nd So basically I sacrificed getting a top 3 CB for adding the 4th or 5th best OT and getting a needed TE and grabbing a "nice: CB prospect in the second. I also added a 2nd CB with great size from bama (Ricks) and a 2nd TE in Laporta in the 3rd. We needed both and they were the best players when I picked.
