also would add, that the Pats staff knows what they are getting.
In 2023, Hudson played in all 16 games with 7 starts. That season, Vrabel was a consultant with them. Ashton Grant was the QB coach, and assistant offensive line coach DeCoster coached him there.
Based on the statements of former teammates, Hudson's biggest issue is his temper. The Dallas game is an example of when loses his mind and can't even concentrate enough to stay on sides.
"Some of the things that he does will get a flag thrown. And that's a momentum changer. That's getting you ejected out of the game... What's going to end up happening is we're going to have first-and-(expletive)-35 because everybody keeps punching each other in the face."
At the end of the day he is a low risk depth signing. Hopefully the coaching can help him channel that aggression in the right way. If not he will be cut sooner rather than later.
posters commenting like Hudson is on the team. he isn't. he is 1 of 90 that are getting a shot.
Bryant, Metz, Gutierrez. perhaps Munford. perhaps an OT drafted/udfa. another vet free agent signed after the draft.
best players are on the team
as of today, remains to be seen if that is Hudson
