Most folks here think that Roberts is a lock to beat out Cox for a roster spot. News at 11.

Personally, I'm not even sure that Belichick will carry a 5th CB on the 53 unless someone steps up in camp. There are plenty of candidates: Roberts, Swanson, Green, and JAG free agents like Cox. Of course, a JAG is exactly what one expects as the 5th, emergency CB. Wilson might even be the 9th DB.

He might. IMO BB's philosophy is that he can take a CB and move him to FS but not the other way around.

With that said, he'll cut Wilson before a guy who can cover.
