I'm sure some are aware but this account, and accounts like Dov Klevwhatever are engagement farming accounts. They almost never post original content, they simply look for interactions so they can get paid add dollars. This particular post is just reposting Lombardo's opinion on who he thinks would replace BB. No sources.

This is not a knock on you @Patsfan1958 at all, I appreciate the time you put into posting info and updates here.

No offense taken. I just find it easier to post from a few accounts rather than chase several down. They find posts that I'd never find on my own also.

The Patriots have activated CB Jack Jones from IR and ST Cody Davis off the PUP list. Veteran OL Riley Reiff has been placed on IR.

Note on Patriots QB/WR Malik Cunningham's three-year contract: It includes injury waivers (head injuries and right shoulder) and split salaries in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Base/split salaries: 2023: $750k/$450k (prorated) 2024: $915k/$495k 2025: $1.03M/$540k Injury waivers acknowledge conditions existed prior to signing his contract. Cunningham would earn split salaries if he's not on the 53-man roster.

The #Patriots didn't activate DL Trey Flowers (foot) from the PUP list. After beginning his return clock on Oct. 4, they have until Oct. 25 to activate Flowers, or he'll be out for the rest of the season.

I think we all were. Flowers would help with the Front 7 and offset the loss of Judon a bit.

I think we're going to see Heavy front sets.. I think we're going to see Guy, Wise, and Roberts on the Ends as well as Jennings.. Gotta Wonder if they move Tavai down onto the end to spell Jennings some.

The beef curtain of Barmore, Godchaux, Guy was very good last week. Barmore wrecked a bunch of plays.

So it seems the Pats chose Cody Davis over Speed, I'm sure they knew there was a risk they'd lose him.. There's certainly more upside in Speed than 34 year old Davis, I know the special teams has been bad but is this a difference-making move?

Speed transferred from GA to Mich State because of mistakes and being a bad fit. Speed has always had great athleticism, but his ability to do the small smart things has been equally lacking. I assume the Pats cut bait early when Speed did not pick things up. Fine with me. I think the Pats know a good special teamer when they see one. BB picked Brady because he knew what a great QB looked like, but he also picked Jones so I am not sure what went wrong.
