Excellent piece.

I wonder if the practices will be an aerial show since both teams have star QBs and real battles going on in their receiving corps. It will be a great test of the defensive backs to get extended work in their various defensive packages against Brees and Brady. Whether they're in pads or shells won't matter much if they have to keep up with the other team's first line passing attack.

It would be nice to see Alfonso Dennard and Tavon Wilson get extensive time against the Saints in both the practices and the game, to get a handle on these guys. Is Dennard still out with the hammie?
