I really don't know how you can say that. The guy can throw the ball on the money in live action, he's shown that. He needs to be coached up to improve his consistency and improve on certain types of throws. People had the exact same criticisms of Josh Allen when he came out.

I would say the Pats taking him is a strong sign that he can be coached up into a good NFL quarterback.

The objective for high performance on the OL is to have continuity and consistency. Shuffling positions on the OL is not trivial, not like moving chess pieces, because each position has various techniques and assignments. And the Pats are working towards a new OL blocking scheme which makes consistency and repeatability more important.

Sure, guys can move on the OL, but it is not trivial or something desired. In reality, the Pats will move the OL positions as little as possible.

You are feeling snarky this morning?
Everyone on the line will change positions except for Andrews a dozen times before the 1st preseason game while they try to find the best combo. We’re not just talking one position here. It’s like a FA taking a 1st offer and not listening to all offers and then take the best one. They are going to mix and match plenty before they get it set before the season starts…no doubt about that.

Ben McAdoo was fired as Head Coach of the Giants in a shorter amount of time than Joe Judge
Oh ok.. .. Judge was sought after he went to the high ranks of college equipment manager.

I am agreeing with you but McAdoo's record is worse than Judge's record, so if you criticize Judge but support McAdoo, you are not being honest. They are both bums.

Oh no I wasn't posting to be a wise ass.. I was just eluding too how high judge was sought after. I'm not going to sit here and BS like I know all about McAdoo.. I'll say this at least he's coached QBs before and has that experience.

Exactly! Allen, burrow, Mahomes, Jackson are all in the league because of why? TALENT. We had no talent whatsoever at the QB position is why we're were 4-13 and looked like an 0-17 offense.
We went From GOAT to WORSE at the QB position the latter taste nasty ewwwwww.

You've been the biggest critic here since BB left questioning every move seems like you are hoping Mayo and Wolf fail. Newsflash BB ain't coming through that door get over it.

They signed Onwenu to RT, not RG, money and have said Onwenu is their RT.
I think that was the message before the draft. Since the draft all I've heard is we have a lot of guys that can play multiple positions. But at any rate, what's the likely plan if Strange can't go? Who starts at LG, and if that's Sow, then who plays RG?

For all the commotion about LT, I think our biggest problem last year was the interior when Strange wasn't playing or was struggling with injury. Sow was just learning, Mafi couldn't have blocked me, opponents knew it, and it was just one big sieve in the middle. This year Mayo is gonna make sure that both OG spots are manned with very capable guys every week. And if that means Onwenu, it won't surprise me cause we have another solid solution at RT in Oko.

All I see is Wallace’s bad agility, his refusal to bench and how Wirfs did everything he did at 6 pounds heavier.

Wallace isn’t completely worthless though, he might also be stronger than he looks.
Plenty of OT's refused to bench this year, including his teammate Fashanu, Fuaga, Latham, Guyton and Mims. I also dont get where this idea that he is unathletic comes from. He's not an athletic freak like Wirfs, but his measurables compare favorably to many of the top left tackles in the league:

Your absolutely correct brother. Remember the game in Germany against Colts. The game that got Bill fired.

I didn't say he was unathletic, in fact I labeled him as having "good" not "great" athleticism. I also stated he had an incomplete grade as a prospect because he had some missing measurables. I liked his arm and wingspan as well.

His agility drills are poor, especially for a guy who is a featherweight sized tackle. He didn't bench, he wasn't injured, the only reason someone refuses to bench is because they know it will hurt their draft stock. His teammate was a sure thing top ten tackle, if he didn't workout at all that wouldn't have changed.

The Pats need a starting left tackle this season, there were a lot of tackles available they could have drafted who would be good next season after a year in the strength and conditioning program... they need a LT this year.

I would have preferred an oversized athletic freak like Patrick Paul who had functional strength to start now. I also think there were numerous WR's available similar to Polk and only two offensive tackles I describe above available left on the board. It was a number's game for me, it was also a philosophical issue. I believe in building the team from the inside out... football starts with line play.

Why is Reagor better than Bolden as a kick return option?
I like Marcus Jones as our best kick returner. He's definitely our best punt returner and in the mix as starting Nickelback.

I can think of one obvious reason people like Reagor. He's run one all the way to the end zone.

Reagor's problem is he might not have another place on the roster. Bolden has a better chance to be CB on this team than Reagor does at WR.

I like the competition at this spot and with the new rules I'm glad we have options and will be interested in seeing what each can do.

The new rules apparently make this more like a spread running play than an old-style kick return. Might well be one of the RBs that get the ball.
I think this plays well for Marcus. Reagor might be more of the old school type though. Other than his speed I'm not sure about Bolden.

Featherweight? He is the third heaviest tackle in the list of elite left tackles I posted, and his agility drill numbers are in the median range for those tackles. His 40 time (single most important measurable for OTs) and both jumps are near the top.
