And cocaine.

Everyone is saying a 2nd for Mallett. Is that just wishful thinking or does Mallett have value?
I luv fans who are as dumb as a pos, and certain of their erroneous assumptions.
Brady is a scrawny guy who can't run worth a damn. They were always trying to sit him down at Michigan. Besides we have Bledsoe. Cut his ass!
Cassell could never play in the college so how can he play in the pros? He looked terrible in preseason. Except he took the Pats to an 11-5 record, and was voted to the Probowl once with the Chiefs. Still Cut his ass!
Mallett is terrible. He can't run. Everyone says he is a LAZY dope and doper, if he has a rocket arm. Cut his ass! I don't care if BB gave him Blackshirts; and awarded him a parking spot for his off season hard work. Cut his ass!
I have a suggestion. Go be a fan of the NYJ, and add your opinions to Gangrene and JI, where they will be appreciated as the font of all wisdom.

Well said, DI. Trouble is the end is coming for TFB; and then what are you going to do?? Wallow in self pity for a decade, awaiting a savior??
While you drag in rag-armed guys like Weedon, or recycled Limburger like Sancheeze ?

Wow there Cousin!
If you read the article they talked about is gangly look and physical thin appearance.
Mallett isn't my best of best, but please re-read this.
Despite his less-than-ideal build, Mallett remains a talented thrower. His most impressive passes on the day, according to the source, were deep outs and go routes -- two of the more valued throws in today's NFL.
Your reporting like the Liberal media (or any media). What you want people to think your way, not the actual facts are how you portray it.
He has a better arm than all of the three kids and has a few NFL camps behind him. He was a better player to have O'Brien and McDaniels teaching him. He is only 25 and healthy. And now you want to nail him? Teddy B. has the same issue in gangly and frail looking, Manzeil has no where near the size or arm and Bortles you can say is just "O.K.". So why does that make any of them a better QB as the face of your franchise?
O.K. I am the Texans, Jags, Browns, Vikings or Raiders. The Browns missed with Weedon (weak arm and older than Mallett), The Jags missed with Gabbert (he is just scared. Mallett is not scared), Ponder from the Vikings? (Very short tape of one year, weak arm) and they Raiders? They just shotgunned to find a QB. The Texans have a coach who coached him.
If I am B.O. I have to go Clowney. Now I decide at the top of Round two, do I want Carr or Jimmy Garapolo in the second or take a shot with the more pro ready Mallett.
The Jags need O.L. desperately. A QB is a bad choice in Round 1 with some great OT's available.
The Vikes need D help and the Browns might wait and be in the 26th pick for a QB.
The Raiders need a QB but the talent rated ahead might be to tempting like a Kahlil.
I read the article. Where does it say he did not throw great? Where does it say he threw fastballs into the dirt? Where does it say he overthrew or underthrew? Maybe I missed something.
Kind of the same report that Tom Brady had before his Draft? Frail? Weak looking? Now add that Draft report Tom Brady threw crappy balls as in not a tight spiral.
Do I have my facts correct sir?

I'm not surprised that someone who thinks the media has a liberal bias also thinks Mallett will fetch #33.
Both are symptoms of a total detachment from reality.
And cocaine.
Wrong Arkansas QB - that was Matt Jones - Mallett was a stoner.
Arkansas was so bad they had to have someone draw in some scouts - they certainly do not have much worth looking at - hope that changes.
I had to laugh when I read one poster say Mallett throws with precision - that is someone who was NOT watching Mallett. Mallett would have EXCELLENT precision if he has 12'-tall WR's.
One GM said Mallett was the first quarterback ever to admit his drug usage to him in interviews, and his willingness to be honest about his past and acknowledge issues is viewed as a positive. Concerns about his history of use could impact his draft position, though. Although Mallett did not produce an official positive test at Arkansas, he has been arrested for public intoxication and carries a reputation as a "big party guy," per sources who have interviewed him. How much teams believe he has matured will weigh into his draft status. "I would not take him at any point," one executive not in need of a quarterback said. He still figures to be drafted in the second round.
