Interesting. Would not have suspected that,

I know he was a favorite of quite a few people here, and it would have been a nice addition given the type of player he is. I guess one big question would have been how good he'd be on his own without someone like J'Marr Chase to draw coverage away, which I do feel like Diggs has helped Douglas and Boutte in that regard.

Still, Williams was a nice surprise, and, while his injury has been a tough one, it was definitely a good signing because he's been solid in this defense. But still an interesting revelation.

Plan B is the best

SBB blocked most of the board and has been cluttering the board with threads like these to rile people up, with the confusion over disappearing posts being part of the desired effect. He’s also necroposting. Just an all-time temper tantrum.

FWIW this title is burying the lede.

Yes, Breer is reporting that their #1 priority was trying to sign Higgins. But, after that fell through, they upped their offer to their #2 target, Milton Williams, to sign him away from the Panthers.

???

If this is true, I'm glad it worked out the way it did, tbh. Diggs has been great value and Milton is clearly an integral piece. Our defense has kept the game in front of Maye, even controlling deficits to be within 1 score and a kick at most.

Good try: I would loved if we had the 6'4 220 lbs Tee Higgins: Maye's occasional High Off target passes wouldn't get by him. I'll take that catch radius.

It's funny how much the Diggs signing seemed like an afterthought and that wouldn't pay off until late in the season, if at all. And now it's one of the most important signings.
