Patriots Practice Update: McCourty Absent

Hopefully McCourty's injury isn't too serious and is able to play this weekend. If not, then since the Pats have clinched a playoff spot, I think they should just rest him until the playoffs start.

I think McCourty will sit this week for a precaution especially since Rodgers looks to miss the game, but I wouldn't read too much into who is missing on a Wednesday practice. That is the day Belichick typically gives players a day off.

The thought of a starting CB tandem of Arrington and Butler scares me.

IIRC Chung had one day off last week too, could be that anyone who's a little banged up gets a day off. Real test will be in the next few days.

So what if they start? Isn't this the game where we can have them start and gauge how much they have improved?

And even more important than gauging them. Give them the opportunity to do more improvement.

We need to win one of the next three and we got Jills and Flipper.

yeah but I really didn't want the test to begin against jennings and driver.
McCourty will sit as a precaution. The offense will still score enough points to win, especially is Rodgers sits.
