Thornton, Reiff, and a mystery person that I didn't expect but that happens anyway. There's usually one.Which 3, TT, Reiff and.....Anderson (?)
Patriots available cap after going to 53, practice squad, and IRs. LTBE active roster bonuses and LTBE incentives are already accounted for.
Reiff moving to guard so quickly into camp then getting hurt makes me wonder if he will end up retiring.Reiff is surprising to me. Maybe they're just taking a few days to see how he progresses and he still ends up on it. Or, he's likely to retire so they're just letting him get those affairs in order.
Or, he's coming back soon, I have no idea.
I'm really surprised we haven't heard anything about IR for him. But I'm thinking they're still assessing their best options for Oline and maybe are waiting until they figure that out.Reiff moving to guard so quickly into camp then getting hurt makes me wonder if he will end up retiring.
They have 8 IR - Non-football Reserve slots at their disposal. They can certainly take their time using these as the next few weeks unfold. All those on the on the 53 and the Practice Squad (69 players) can be assigned to one of those slots opening up the one vacated. My guess is the Patriots are looking carefully at all the other teams' practice squads and the unsigned free agents for good fits.Surprised that only Thornton has gone to IR so far. Reverse the curse!! For the next 20 years starting in 2023, the Pats will now have unparalleled success drafting WRs, after failing miserably at it for 20 years.Music to my ears.
I gotta say I didn’t have Boutte or Douglas on my radar at all but I’m pleasantly surprised.
I wanted Ronnie Bell and Tank Dell.
If we would of drafted them as well it looks like we would of been set at WR for 4 years as also my binkie Mingo who went earlier than I anticipated.
What will be interesting is to follow the careers of Gonzalez vs Njigba

Impossible... Curran told me they have $17M in cap and there's no excuse not to make some big signings...
I was being sarcastic, I thought that was obviousC'mon man, your a mod here for a long time yet not only you still dont have a clue how cap works but you use every opportunity to showcase it.
