Patriots Possible Draft Target, CB Zach Sanchez

Steve Balestrieri

Zach Sanchez from Oklahoma is an undersized but very productive cornerback that would fit in with the Patriots man coverage scheme. A three-year starter for the Sooners since his red-shirt freshman season in 2013, he decided to forego his final season in

Please tell me he's related to Mark!

I would really like this pick. Sanchez has some skills that need to be refined, but he's a ball hawk. He seems to have an instinct for when the ball is going to come out and where it is going to be thrown, and that's something you cannot teach. He also has some nice size at 5'11". He has very fluid hips from what I've seen and is a very willing tackler, something Belichick loves in his CB's. A lot of his biggest issues, which are his weight and discipline in coverage, can be worked with or coached. So, for a third rounder, I would love it if the Pats pulled the trigger on Sanchez.

This is a reel of "lowlights" uploaded by a troll.

Yeah, I don't think he watched more of that video outside of the first two plays. "Future NFL Hall of Famer" should have probably given away that it was satire as well.

Oh no I did.. People complain about how players can be made to look great in highlight videos or a player because a draft binky based on a highlight reel, well I posted one that took a different approach.

I don't go on highlight videos. I spend pretty much my entire Saturdays during the fall and winter watching college ball. But I see what you did. A lot of those plays could have easily been called OPI. Particularly the ones they showed against Oklahoma State. Their receivers were pushing off on him left, right, and sideways.

A reel of lowlights tells us about us much as a reel of highlights. The best videos to watch are those that show every play from a particular game. However, this doesnt really work for DBs unless its all 22.

You can hear him screaming "NOONAN" at 1:40-1:45 of the clip. That's just great defense by Sanchez.

Bill 's scouting notes would refer to this sequence as "non-competitive."
