ok this sounds a hell of a lot better than the other thread saying BB kicked everyone off the field b/c they sucked so bad at practice.

Yup. Better on Wednesday than Sunday. At the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if Belichick was looking to do something like that no matter how they played.

Two weeks is a long time to get ready for a football game.
 
For some reason I always thought Dan Pompei was just with The Sporting News; I never knew he was with a Chicago paper.
