It is intereresting that Schefter said that the Pats will get the same player at 37 that they would have at 23. Seemed to know who the player is, if he didn't misspeak or meant the same level of player. It is also a bit worrisome if the Pats have one guy in mind and know that he will still be there 14 picks later.
It's called Schefter is a Pats front office mouthpiece...

Oooooooooh boy. I was hoping Brooks would be around at 87. Hah.
Nah, we really don’t need speedy linebackers. Hoping for a 6’4” 260lbs backer who runs past 4.8 40 who can’t cover backs or TEs

Queen will be really good in Baltimore.

I like what the Bucs are doing on O. Their D is a little underrated. I think they will do better than people think. They have a lot of young and improving talent and will deal with less than half the turnovers they had to last year.

They've got some key spots to address. They may have to go against type and do some restructuring that puts money off into the future.

Ravens get probably the best player left and maybe steal of the draft at number 28.

Seems like someone elite always falls to the Ravens while the Pats trade down.

I'm just glad that the Pats are so stacked at linebacker that they had the luxury of passing up the chance of drafting him.

They could have traded up, instead.

If they traded the 23 plus all three of their 3rd rounders they could have gotten to 14 -- the Tampa Bay pick, ironically. I notice you avoided advocating that option, but for posterity what would you have done with the 14th pick? It'll be interesting to see how that compares to whatever BB does with 37, 71, 87, 98 and 100 instead...

Feels like Ravens always find great D talent in the late 1st

They've got 2 guys who's 2020 seasons are likely to be "ish". I'm marking down for that.

You draft for a career, not a year, but fair enough.

I can’t stand the rats but they might dominate that division for the next couple of years unless Cleveland gets better. They finally addressed the OL.

Not if it is another 2nd round overdraft, which is why it makes me nervous.

When BB drafts Joaonni Stonefoot from Northwest South Dakota State tech, you'll be very happy. He's a very heady player.

The Ravens really are the most telepathic drafting team ever. Excellent pickup with Queen.

Unless you are drafting a guy you are confident no one else likes, there is simply no way you can ever be confident he will be there 14 picks later. Now, if they move back up in the second round, yes they targeted a guy, but if not they are just moving back and taking the best player available.
