It could be an empty threat, but he might be doing everything he thinks he can to save Brady. I never said he would follow through with the threat, but it might be the message he is sending.

Sure. There may be some kind of groundwork being laid (maybe Bob grows a pair and decides to sue the league) or hes trying to help TB12 b/c the judges hammered Kessel in court or maybe Bob is sending smoke signals that could be construed as a threat but as of right now I doubt it.

Until otherwise the team is publishing this for posterity's sake- nothing more.

but but but... he called himself a deflator! and and and brady destroyed the phone!

sigh

Thinking about it, it could be a pre-emptive strike for Brady if he loses in court. Basically saying if the league doesn't back off Brady even if they win (since this is more about retaining power and not Brady at this point), that they will seek legal remedy.

The fact that it is coming directly from their legal counsel is intriguing imo and it does come across as a shot across the bow.

I see they're backing away from the weight loss explanation for the deflator. Probably for the best I think.

There is a lot of interesting stuff in here that I had not heard before.
this one is incredible
How was this not publicized?
Either the refs failed to even count the balls or one of the balls was not even a gauged game ball. Just shows how important this issue was even after the Indy complaint.

Unbelievable.
They lost two draft picks from this circus.

More importantly, how did Kraft not appeal and put this piece of crap investigation on trial?

They have no bow to fire a shot across.
There is no recourse. Any claim they want to make will be answered by "You willingly forfeited your right to appeal and challenged the report and results".

I have been pissed that the Patriots were silent after Clement and the NFL lied to CA2 and I'm happy to see them rebutting the lies the NFL has been spreading. We can argue about semantics but at least they are making an effort and using their legal counsel to get their message out is an intriguing approach imo.

They should have filed an amicus brief to Brady's appeal.

I get it. We've all used strongly worded language that we ourselves or have a lawyer draft up that expresses our position or attempt to add clarity to a situation that is grossly misunderstood. I get it.

However, this TWRC stuff its the equivalent of someone beating the **** out of you an embarrassing you and all you do is say that the person had no justification to do it and they are still beating me up and my brother now too.

Are we to believe Kraft is paying his lawyers to write such a treatise just to update the web site for our amusement?

What else can he do with it?
Any attempt at action is disqualified by not following his legal right to appeal the penalty.

Kraft is paying money to be able to point to something when the Patriots are called cheaters.
